At the age of 6,5 month Asta is a very big, fast and strongly-build she-dog. A pure muscleman. Her ears are fairly big, too, what emphasizes her personality distinctly. :) Her nose works very well, finding tracks with her is a great fun. She has a veeeeeery well-marked food instinct. She does everything for food. We call her lovingly "vacuum cleaner". Certainly she is very unsociable and warily in dealing with strangers. Biscuits are taken gladly, but for more you have to gain her trust at first. Her territory is defended vociferously as well.
Her play and prey instinct is also well-marked what my hands are not always glad about.:)
In the subordination she learns fastly and collaborate joyfully. Doing protective service with her is not always that easy, because of her well-marked prey instinct. In stress situations she primary becomes a little bit nervous, but she quickly regained her composure.
As many other Malis Asta is a very affectionate dog. Being alone is stupid what is proclaimed vociferously. She likes to be located where something is happening. She loves sleeping on the sofa more than anything else, if she has to she also sleeps on a blanket, but she scrunches it up into a pile so that it is soft enough. :)
Oh, and erverytime she gets her share of kindness and affection she grunts blissfully and feels as snug as a bug in a rug.
All in one Asta is a fast, daft, big and lovable devil!
